Vikki Young
I am trying to upload ICC profiles for Epson Sublimation Ink into Affinity Designer, can anyone help me out with this issue as Epson are saying in the email that they are windows. Any help with this would be great as I cannot start my setup without having the ICC profiles in Affinity Vikki InkExperts_EpsonL805_Sublinova_Style_Ceramic.icm InkExperts_EpsonL805_Sublinova_Style.icm
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Vikki Young Your question would have been better asked in the appropriate “Questions” section of the forums rather than the “Tutorials” section as the “Tutorials” section is for people posting tutorials for other people to follow. A moderator will probably move this thread for you.
NotMyFault
Hi, normally you install such profiles on operating system level (Windows / Mac). You do not install them in Apps like Designer. Designer will show you all profiles available on the system. I found this by search engine, which might explain all steps in detail: https://www.inkowl.com/page/performance-d-icc-profiles/ Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | Windows 10 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. My posts focus on technical aspects and leave out most of social grease like „maybe“, „in my opinion“, „I might be wrong“ etc. just add copy/paste all these softeners from this signature to make reading more comfortable for you. Otherwise I’m a fine person which respects you and everyone and wants to be respected.

Are you using Affinity Designer under Windows or Mac? However, for either OS you have to install the ICC/ICM profiles on your OS system wide, so in the usual color management related places the operating system keeps and holds these profiles. Affinity usually looks and accesses profiles from those OS related system path places then.
