iPad Designer / Pixel Persona: invert selection error

Recommended Posts

I’m working with an oak leaf. made a selection to paint inside, then wanted to invert same selection to erase outside of it. Long press, chose Invert Selection, and got a square selection - not in the shape of the leaf and in a completely different part of the illustration.

Is this normal behavior / some kind of help?

Could you provide a screen recording and a affinity document to reproduce?
Never observed that issue.

Not normal. Just this file?  Big file? Too many background apps open? Maybe a hard reset would help.

On another note I find it odd that a there is no option to 'delete' a selection in the Commands menu (only Cut). Delete is only available in the long press pop up menu.

True for Designer, but the same situation exists in Photo, and no rubbish bin is provided there. Just another inconsistency between app development teams.
