VectorCat
I’m working with an oak leaf. made a selection to paint inside, then wanted to invert same selection to erase outside of it. Long press, chose Invert Selection, and got a square selection - not in the shape of the leaf and in a completely different part of the illustration. Is this normal behavior / some kind of help? NotMyFault
Could you provide a screen recording and a affinity document to reproduce? Never observed that issue. Too many background apps open? Maybe a hard reset would help. On another note I find it odd that a there is no option to 'delete' a selection in the Commands menu (only Cut). Delete is only available in the long press pop up menu. Quote M2 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 16.5.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). iPad Pro 10.5, iPadOS 16.51, Apple Pencil 1st gen. VectorCat
Just got home. Re-traced my steps exactly and I could not reproduce the issue. No hard restart since morning and now. So sorry...It seems like a good thing to have captured. Next time I'll try to remember to take a screen video of weirdnesses.
