I've contacted Affinity support but I've only received an acknowledgement and no advice. I've copied below my statement to Affinity can anyone here help me please. Kind regards and best wishes to everyone for a safe and Merry Christmas. Oliver Hello, I've downloaded your 10 day Windows 10 trial today installing it from the file affinity-photo-1.10.4.exe. I carried out from your eMail the confirmation eMail address as requested. It will not open properly. I have tried running it from the Desktop icon and from the Photo.exe file in the Affinity folder in Program files. I have tried running it as Administrator as well as the usual User. The problem remains the same in all cases. In all cases the largish dark blue Affinity page appears quickly having a larger pop-up superimposed over it. The pop-up has three input panels, the top one which is highlighted is titled Continue Trial, the next lower one is More Info and the lowest is Unlock with product key. No matter what I do with any of the input panels the programme just shuts down. My computer is running Windows 10 64 bit. It is a custom built one, it has 12GB of ram. I have other software apps for my digital photography, Lightroom, Photoshop, DxO PhotoLab, Digital Photo Professional etc. and all run perfectly. Do you have a solution for this problem? As the trial isn't opening can you follow the steps in this FAQ article on getting the logs from the Windows Event Viewer to upload them here as they may narrow down a possible cause.
