rikkarlo
How do I export an artboard with transparent background?
walt.farrell
First, you give it a transparent background. When you create the document you can specify Transparent Background as one of the options on the File > New dialog. If you didn't do that during document creation, you can do it later via File > Document Setup, where you can choose Transparent Background in the Color tab. Then, all you have to do is choose an export format that supports transparency. (Specifically, not JPG, but there may be relevant Export options to set in some other formats, too.) rikkarlo 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. rikkarlo
By the way it is very hidden, so my suggestion for the developers to make it easier to find might be to just add an option directly in the option bar when you select the artboard itself, or in the drop down menu when you export the document
