elguapo
Please add option “Current & Below” or “All Layers” like in Photoshop for Smudge tool. I often need smudges on separate layer and now it's impossible in Affinity products. Pluscuamperfecto
BetoTex
Select all the layers you want to smugde and make sure "edit all layers" is on, and then you'll get to do it. elguapo and Frozen Death Knight

"Edit all layers" only function, as far as I know, is to allow selection of objects on the screen even if they are in a different Artboard or a different Layer layer than the one that is currently active in the Layers panel. Usually, a document in Photo has neither Artboards nor Layer layers, and therefore as Carl mentioned, the option does nothing. So I'd be interested in learning more about what you've described, if you've found something else that it does. Frozen Death Knight
Unlike Photoshop Affinity allows you to select multiple layers and use tools on all of the selected layers at the same time. This works for any tool, whether they are brushes or not.
