Problems with some jpg files in Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

I have an odd issue...
I have some jpg files when I open them i get several layers and all are blank, so all i can see is just a transparent window. If i open these files with... lats say an imageviewer and save them as jpg, THAN i can open them in affinity... why?

I added you one of the images i have an issue with, any help would be appreciated, since this resaving is annoying as hell...

Hello @RazielKanos and welcome to the forums.

I don't know why, but there is another vector layer attached below the image layer. If you delete this layer, the motif also becomes visible.

It is a Photoshop path consisting of a single stroke which appears as a vector crop with 0px width in Affinity Photo, so therefore the image in the background is invisible. Why this is so only Serif can tell.
