Gamemistress Jessica
Hello, this is my First post so I hope this is the correct place. I am creating my own rpg system and so I need a character sheet. I already own affinity photo. But my question is this. Which program should I use to create a character sheet like the pathfinder or dungeons and dragons character sheet? EDIT: I want the forms to be fillable Edited December 17, 2021 by Gamemistress Jessica
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Gamemistress Jessica Since a character sheet doesn’t normally have lots of continuous text, and you will need to do a lot of aligning of things to other things, and some items may need to be repeated (and modified together), then my recommendation would be to use Designer, if you can purchase it. You could probably use Photo, but Designer would probably make things easier for you. Try the Designer trial and see if it’s something you might like. Pšenda
Then APublisher with Data merge functionality. P.S. Even with Afinity Suite (all three applications) you won't make a mistake, because each one fits something different, and in APublisher they are nicely integrated into one application using StudioLink. Trial testing should give you an idea of the benefits and usability for your purposes. Bad_Wolf
Welcome to the forums Jessica. I create all my artwork, including for gaming with Designer. I am also using PixelEdit and in the past Blender for creating spritesheets and animation. But all the drawing is done in Designer. I know from the Scirra (Construct 3) forum that there are several people also using the Affinity Suite for their artwork. Many of them are also using Spriter as an addition to Designer.
