ericosmosNEW
I used a mask shape layer to mask out parts of a word balloon for overlapping effects. The problem is the masked part of the vector gets exported as rasterized. Is there any workaround for that? NotMyFault
This is not a bug, it is a limitation of the file types and using mask layers. If you want yo avoid rasterizing, use vector shapes or curves for clipping / masking instead of bitmap masks. mask layers are bitmap layers. ericosmosNEW
No, I didn‘t use bitmap masks! But I actually found out what turned part is it into a bitmap. When you do these kind of shape layer masks always turn of the stroke! Once you accidentally turn on stroke you get this mess. Without stroke everything remains a vector after export.
