primepainter Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 I recently was able to purchase a large Wacom Intuos 5 Pro tablet and am looking for a program that enables me to paint, blend, layer images/drawings/paintings, cut out images, and add images to new ones...In short, an alternative to Photoshop that isn't outlandishly expensive. I would love to blend my classical/impressionistic painting with 21st century techniques to achieve the final outcome onto canvas faster. I saw the Affinity Photo trailer and was Immediately stoked. My question is, what are the differences between Affinity Design and Affinity Photo? Does Photo have many drawing/brush effects to integrate my Inuos 5 with? I suggest that you download our 10 day trial for both apps and see which one works better for you. They can be downloaded from here & here.
