MoonaticDestiny Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 So I made a rectangle artboard with a specific width and height. However, I made the mistake of putting the wrong dimensions. They were supposed to be the other way. So the solution is to just rotate my rectangle artboard so that I go from landscape to portrait. But for some reason its not letting me rotate my rectangle artboard. I dont know why. I dont know if artboards are not allowed to be rotated? The bounding box of the artboard shows up but theres no anchor to rotate the artboard I created. It only shows up if I move the artboard but even then I can click the rotation anchor because my mouse is still moving the artboard. So now what I need to do is switch the width and height dimensions in the transform studio manually. I have to manually type in the dimensions that I need, but I wish there was a button I could just click that would flip the width and height with each other. That way I dont have to type in anything. It just flips the height and width. So I was wondering if serif could take the toggle arrow button thats located next to fill and stroke and just add it in the transform studio next to the width and height, so I can easily flip the height with the width. I've attached a photo to show this. I dont mind manually typing in the dimensions. I just think a button can solve this easily. Quote

When creating a new document with the initial empty artboard active, the rotation handle is there and can be used. Afterwards it will disappear. But if non-destructive rotation is what you want, then use the "R:" field. The "R" stands for "Rotation". MoonaticDestiny Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 I still think this toggle arrow button should be added. I think it could really help out users. Quote

It's not a bad idea, but then it should be available for any pair of fields with XY coordinates, not just W+H. A possible solution might be a "swap fields" expression shortcut. You can already get halfway through by: copy the W value type "h" into the W field paste the original W value into the H field Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
