stardustwaterfall Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 So more than a year ago I bought Affinity Designer on my iPad, but it takes up a good chunk of memory and is slow as a result, so I haven't been able to really use it on my iPad. Now that I have recently gotten an iMac, I really wanted to use it on the computer but it shows I'd have to pay for it even though I'm logged into the same exact Apple ID on my iMac as on my iPad. Is there a fix to this? If not.... There should be. Don't want to pay twice for the same program. Quote

stardustwaterfall Posted November 30, 2021 Author Posted November 30, 2021 Saw that, was just hoping I misread it or understood it wrong. How gross. emmrecs01 1 Quote

The Mac version costs more than twice as much as the iPad version, and it has several features which haven’t yet been (and may never be) implemented on the iPad version. If iPad owners could use the desktop apps under the same licence as the iPad apps, those of us who have iPads obviously wouldn’t buy the desktop versions, and those who don’t have iPads would be aggrieved about iPad users getting preferential pricing. emmrecs01 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
