Welocme,

I want to shrink my shape but when i do it i want it to shrink keeping all sides of shape same way only smlaller - just like shinking selection by few pixels but i cannot achieve this on my shape [ Attached - shapefile ].

As example look on my Basic shape 1 - it has outline fixed as inside - and this gives me effect i want - it's just i need it as second smaller shape

Than Basic Shape 2 is original shape and Basic Shape 3 - is shrinking using Ctrl+Shit + Corner drag but it does not work as intended.

Any Hints how can i solve this ?

Thank You alot :)

Copy the shape and remove the stroke from the bottom copy. Select the top copy and use the ‘Expand Stroke’ command, and then subtract the expanded ‘stroke’ (which is now a filled shape with no outline) from the top copy of the other two shapes.

Hi @Ebonea,

If I understand the request correctly, you can get this by using the "Appearance" tab in the studio.
Draw the orange shape with a black outline, switch to "Appearance". In this tab, add a new white outline (aligned inside), place it under the black outline and adjust its thickness.
