TLCais Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Hello, I originally purchased Affinity Photo for a 1st generation iPad, which I have since gotten an iPad Pro 11 inch. I factory reset the old iPad and re-registered it on the new iPad Pro 11 inch. It shows it’s registered to both iPads on my account. Can you please remove the registration from the old iPad which shows as 12.9 inch. Apparently doing a factory reset is not the way to get rid of the registration. So sorry about that. Or do I need to do something on my end. Thank you. Quote
Komatös Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Hello @TLCais and welcome to the forums. If you have'd buyed at the Serif Affinity Store, you can delete the old iPad yourself. Go to the Serif Affinity Store and log in. There you will find the registered maschines. If you buyed at the Apple Store, Serift can't do anythink. TLCais Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Hello @Komatös, Thank you, I purchased it through the app store on the iPad. I don’t mind seeing both as long as it’s not an issue for Serif. Thanks again and have a great day. Quote

TLCais Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Thank you @walt.farrell Yes, I saw where the two machines are listed in my account. I can’t add the app back onto the other machine as after I did a factory reset on it, I gave it to my daughter who lives an hour and a half away from me. It’s not a big deal to see both there as long as it’s not a big deal for serif. I just figured since they made the app, they could remove the old machine from my account. Also if I remember correctly I did log out of that machine, as I’ve had the new iPad for over a month now and was using it on the new iPad and I read I had to log out of the one in order to put it on the new one. But thank you again for the answers, I really do appreciate the advice. Quote

That's a specific action you'd need to take, separately from logging out of the iPad or resetting the iPad. But I don’t think it made me register it on my new iPad a month ago, but it did today when I went in to the app. Thanks for all your help. Quote
