Trying out Affinity photo to see if it's right for me. So far so good except for when I try to access certain type features:

These all cause a crash:

- "Show Character" (Command T)

-The little paragraph icon when in the type tool.

-The Character Icon

I'm on a new M1 running Monterey. Crash report below.

Any help much appreciated - hoping to get this solved in my trail period!

Hi @Dan113,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Can you please confirm for me, which font is selected/in use when you use the 'Show Character' command?

If you select Arial as the font for your text and then follow the same steps, does the app still crash?

I'd also like to request the full copy of your crash report, please see the below link for how to access this -

Many thanks in advance!
