I cannot get the the behavior of "double-clicking on the bottom or right table edge handle" described in Affinity Publisher documentation, which is supposed to have the table fit the contents (screenshot of documentation below). The behavior I get when I double-click on table edge handle is something like "resizing the table back to the size when the table was originally created". And the behavior is even stranger when I first drag the table larger with the bottom-right handle on the corner, and then double-click the right table edge handle. This will make the table huge for some reason, as shown in the video.

Hi @Ning,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm I've been able to replicate this same behaviour here and the double clicking does not appear to be working correctly - so I've logged this with our developers now :)

In the meantime, you can right click in the header column or row of the table and select 'AutoFit Column/Row to Contents', which should work as expected.

I hope this helps!

@Dan C But "AutoFit Column/Row to Contents" is buggy too! It's on my last post which you replied.

My apologies, I had forgotten about that report also!

I'll be sure to 'bump' that once again with our devs, and hopefully these should be fixed in an upcoming update :)
