Gshooter Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 I have just opened up Photo and the Photo Studio layout has completely change on the right hand side. I was using the original Afinity Photo layout and had got used to working with that. Is it possible to revert to the original layout? Secondly. I have just bought a Fujifilm XF 16-80 f4 lens and it is not showing in the Develop Lens Profile list. Can this lens be add to the list of profiles please. Quote
markw Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Go to: View > Studio > Reset Studio (it’s at the bottom of the list) You can also Save different Studio layouts for future use by going to: View > Studio Presets. But sorry can’t help you with your lens question… Quote macOS 12.7.6 | 15" Macbook Pro, 2017 | 4 Core i7 3.1GHz CPU | Radeon Pro 555 2GB GPU + Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 1.536GB | 16GB RAM | Wacom Intuos4 M
iconoclast Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hi Gshooter! Can't say anything about Lens Profiles, but if you go to the "View" menu, there to "Studio Presets" and click on "Standard", you should get your original studio behaviour back, I think. Quote

iconoclast Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 OK, I'm on Windows too. Think you'll be right. To be honest, I don't really remember how it was after I first installed it. Quote
Gshooter Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I think I just installed the program and used it from there. Anyway the way I had it set before it mysteriously changed was Panel on right. At bottom of Panel where tabs for Adjustments. Layers. Effects and Live Filters. Also Layer Mask and Layer Delete Bin. History etc. When I selected Adjustments or Live Filters The options appeared above the tab. I now have Adjustments. Layers and Effects Tabs at the top below the histogram. The live Filter Tab has gone.. When I select an adjustment three thumbnails appear Default, Darken, Lighten which is annoying because I only want to work on the Default. The live filters used to be on a layer. Has anybody seen this display before or did I create it without remembering? Senior Moments!!! Quote
Ron P. Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 I think your best bet would be to Reset Studio. That gets it back to the default, as when you just installed it. I think you're referring to the Icons at the bottom of the Layers Studio(Panel). The Adjustments do have a separate panel, that's what you're seeing with the Default, Darken, Lighten thumbnails, which are just presets. I don't use the Adjustment Panel, so I just turn it off, which is done by going to View>Studio menu, and just clicking on it, which removes the check mark beside, and removes it from your Layout. I just use the Adjustment Icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel. To my knowledge there is no Live Filter Tab, ie; Panel. Just the Hourglass looking Icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel. There is however the Effects Panel, along with the Icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel. As has been posted before, you can choose to have the Layout arranged as you wish, having only the Studios (Panels) showing you want. Once you have it arranged, then go to View>Studio Presets, and Save it. It appears that your lens has not been added yet. Serif uses LensFun for this.
