Snoekie Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Hi there I am trying to export a billboard in Designer as a pdf but it keeps telling me the dimensions of this page are out of range. Page content might be truncated? The document size is 714 x 360 cm with 20mm bleed. Surely the size should not matter? I am working on a iMac running OS Catalina 10.15 7 (I cant update to the latest OS) I need to make a pdf to send to production and printing but I can get it to save the pdf for me to send to my client. This is so frustrating. I have tried numerous times using various options but it just won't save the whole document. The pdf is cut off on the right side I have attached various screenshots and the pdf that is wrong which will hopefully explain why I cant do this?? Please help I am desperate and this urgent. Kind regards Debbie Snoek TipOne billboard_final layout.pdf Quote

Snoekie Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Its 300 dpi but totally a vector file. I actually re-did the artwork to 50% and made the pdf again and that worked. But that doesn't tell why I cant just save the pdf to the size I was working in. Quote

Because the physical dimensions of a PDF file are limited, as part of the definition of the file format. Snoekie Posted November 25, 2021 Author Posted November 25, 2021 Thanks I already googled it and 200"x200" (5x5 metres) is apparently the largest size (for those that want to know) you can work to. Quote
