Thane5 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 If users had a faster way to open previously opened files in Affinity apps, it would save them a fair bit of time. I don't think it even has to be a fancy grid with thumbnails, just a list would already be enough to accomplish that. Rudolphus 1 Quote
Thane5 Posted November 24, 2021 Author Posted November 24, 2021 (edited) Yeah that is also a workaround on Windows 10, unfortunately this was removed with Windows 11 for some reason, and who knows when microsoft will bring it back. It would be good for consistency if Affinity simply had its own solution for that. Edit: I was wrong, files are still there when you right click on the task bar icon (though i could swear this was not the case yesterday). But they removed that list of files when right-clicking on a start menu tile. Edited November 24, 2021 by Thane5 Quote
Pšenda Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Recent files in "Splash screen"? However, depending on the speed of the application, it is only displayed for a few seconds. Didn't you mean Welcome screen, as has been requested many times? https://www.google.com/search?q=welcome+screen+recent+files+site:forum.affinity.serif.com Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.5.7.2948 (Retail) Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2, Build 26100.2605.
