Dear all,

I am working on a paperback text book with all text frames of the same size. Now I have to modify the general page format. Is there an option to batch-change the size of all the text frames? Or automatically resize the text frames to fit the page margins?

Many thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forums @BorisHB,

I am going to guess you didn't use Text Frames on a Master Page to populate your book.

Easiest way to resize all the text frames is to have them on a Master Page which is applied to all the pages. Then you can just adjust the size on the Master Page and that change in size, location etc will occur on all the pages.

If as I guessed you didn't use a Master page to populate the Actual Pages with text frames then the easiest thing to do is to start over and do a Copy Paste of the text.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Welcome to the Affinity forums @BorisHB!

Look up Spread Setup > All Spreads > Change the Dimensions > Go to Scaling tab and select Rescale > Hit the OK button and keep fingers crossed. This solution works best when the ratio of the dimensions of the two different page formats is the same, otherwise elements will be distorted.
