Hi there,
I would like to create a page flip effect. I can find many Photoshop tutorials on the internet, but none for Affinity.
I tried the steps from the following tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5H9OMY4r0w
rework.
Unfortunately I can't unfold a corner with the grid tool as shown in the video.
Is there a guide somewhere?

In Affinity you may need to adjust the workflow. 
 

  1. Start with pixel layer of page
  2. Use Mesh Warp tool on image to flip page (it shows still the front  side). May add extra grid lines to limit warp effect to corner (no selection)
  3. Use Pen Tool and gradient fill to create shape to cover part of image where the backside should be visible.
