Gshooter Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 I am trying to open a 16 bit RGB TIFF file in stand alone viveza on the desktop. The file refuses to open with a message saying wrong file type. Is this because it has the prefix Afinity file? It will open jpgs ok. I am using the 2012 free Nik Effects as a plug in and am trying to use this method as a work around to avoid the already well documented problem with color cast when using the plug in. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 If you exported the TIFF file from Affinity Photo, perhaps you had compression enabled, and perhaps Vicenza either does not like compressed TIFF files or does not like the compression option you chose. Staff Callum Posted November 23, 2021 Staff Posted November 23, 2021 Hi Gshooter, Please could you right click your file go to properties and then provide a screenshot of the entire window that appears? I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by prefix Affinity Photo does this file definitely have the extension .TIFF. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
