Olyduck Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 (edited) I am considering upgrading my MacBook Pro to the M1 Pro Chip. Would you advise going for the more expensive 10 core with 16 core GPU chip? I'm wondering how much power I need for any AI features in Affinity, like noise reduction or file resizing/upscaling. Thanks, Olyduck Edited November 22, 2021 by Olyduck spelling Quote
R C-R Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 AFAIK, there are no AI (artificial intelligence, A.K.A. machine learning) powered features in Affinity. Fixx Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Affinity apps do not require really powerful machines (IMHO). As long as you have 16 GB or more RAM everything should run fine. Quote
