Loggaman Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 I seem to have these strange colour bars appearing on all the Affinity programmes , also some of the heading disappear and appear . I went in to preferences to see if I could find a setting to change this is what happened ,I recorded my setting where you can see them. Alex Affinity preferences.mp4 affinity error.mp4 Quote

Loggaman Posted November 21, 2021 Author Posted November 21, 2021 Yep found it a programme called alienware , deleted it all good now thanks for all the help. Quote
GarryP Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 It’s good to hear that you have fixed the problem. Would you be able to give us more information about the software you deleted – who makes it, how you acquired it, which version it was, etc. - so that we can consider it for possible inclusion in any further fault diagnosis issues? Loggaman Posted November 21, 2021 Author Posted November 21, 2021 I did a search in C:/ for Nahamic it pointed to a set of programmes which were pre installed on my Dell G15 laptop called Alienware which I think is a gaming programme, Ive never used it. I deleted all programmes associated with the name there was three ,no idea what the version was just glad to see removing it solved my problem. Thanks for the tip. GarryP 1 Quote
GarryP Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Thanks for the extra information. This might help others who have a similar issue. (Ah, a little delving tells me that Alienware is a subsidiary of Dell, I did not know that.) Quote
