For example: currently if you go into the brush to you can only I just brush size with the brackets but if you want to adjust opacity or flow you can't. Same goes for most of the other tools. As for the pen tool, there is no shortcut that you can option on the ad to increase the stroke size or to close the curve, as well as changing the mode from smart to curve to sharp.
