Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well!

I have a question; when I export images, I do not have the same results/preview as in my software (see screenshot attached ) whether I export it has a PNG or JPG

For reference, it's when I add noise in the color Fill

Sorry if it's confusing

Thank you everyone in advance,image.thumb.png.dddf4bac82dad8fe1c58a6b71bd41e19.png

In the end result, is it the lack of the noise?

Hi @youssefarhi,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I can confirm that the level of noise you're seeing in the Affinity app needs to be checked at 100% zoom for an accurate representation of the exported image.

Due to Affinitys use of MipMaps on the canvas, certain effects such as Noise can appear differently when at low zoom levels and this may be causing the difference between application and export you're seeing currently.

If you set the document zoom to 100% within Affinity, does the noise you're seeing here now match the exported document?

Many thanks in advance :)

I'll try it out!

Wasn't there something about hardware acceleration affecting how the noise came out? I might be wrong on that, maybe worth trying turning off hw accel and testing it.

How could I do that?
