th_studio
Good day! Just found an issue. I was trying to resize the Af. Publisher window, but failed. Can't grab any of the corners to be able to resize it. Is this a bug?

Alfred
Forgive me if this is a silly question, but have you checked that the window isn’t maximized? If it is, it needs to be ‘restored down’ before you can drag the corners to resize it. th_studio
@walt.farrell@Alfred never mind, it's possible to resize, just a little bit tricky and not like the other software. Sorry about the confusion 😅 Alfred

Glad you got it working, but just a comment: I've never had it work differently from other software as far as resizing the window. emmrecs01 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.1.2, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.1.

Rembrandt
Thank You so much for Your extremley quick response. 😊 I'm using Affinity Designer 1.10.6.1665 on Windows 10. Just as th_studio I've overcome this bug: When opening AD and clicking "restore" (i. e. Windows icon for making the window demaximized) the AD window does not show the resizing arrows when hovering with the mouse over the window's edges. Only the downright corner shows the tiny "triangle of action" which is in fact active. This is however hard to reach when the "restored" window is in full size and you have to move it fully upwards without snapping it to the display's upper edge (which maximizes it again). Just a couple of hours later I was able to move it to the last but one window pixel, then grabbed the downright corner and resize the AD window. From then on also the AD window's edges offer the resize arrows when hovering above them. If You still like to have screenshots of this I will try to reproduce this. Thanks again and all the best 🙂 -Rembrandt

With that I don't see a need for a screenshot. I don't know what was going on there; sorry. Staff Dan C Posted August 21 Staff Share Posted August 21 Thanks for the info provided @Rembrandt - if this issue keeps occurring I'd recommend closing the Affinity app, then navigating to the following folder through Windows Run (Windows Key + R) : %appdata%\Affinity\Designer\1.0\Settings\ In this folder, delete the window.xml file and then restart the app. Hopefully this should stop the issue from returning
