Three quick questions from a UK based customer.

1) When is the Affinity Black Friday 2021 event with 30% Discount happening?

2) Is it a specific date or period?

3) When purchasing where is the 30% discount applied?

The offer will begin on Monday 22nd November. We haven't announced an end date just yet.

The discount will be automatically applied to all orders before the order is placed.

The sale starts on Monday, and no there's no discount before then. This earliy announcement is to help people thinking of buying anything in the next few days to know to wait and avoid them saying that they would have waited if only they had known. It's to save our customers money and get fewer refund requests.

@Alfred, I've burnt through the trial after ending my CC subscription in October, I've been trying all the different options and finally got to the conclusion that affinity photo is not simply the best alternative but the best product out there for me. 

I'll wait it out, it's just a few days now.

Where did you see this?
I only ask as Serif may be interested in knowing if someone is making false claims about their software/company.
(I think they would be especially interested if someone was trying to lure people into purchasing software by offering a very-time-limited offer for something that isn’t through official channels.)

Hello,

I'm trying to buy, but the website is trying to charge the full value for Affinity Photo from PayPal and Credit Card. It didn't show the reduced price in the cart and on the payment approval. 

What is the correct way to purchase with the Black Friday price? Am I missing something?

I think that you initially tried to buy at the exact time we were rolling out the discount in the store. I can see from your Affinity store account that you have subsequently bought at the advertised discounted price, so I hope you are no longer in need of help buying

I haven't started using Affinity yet. I've just downloaded free trial version. Will the discount still apply when my trial ends? (Which is I think 30 days, yes?) 

Or do I need to make sure that I purchase before the Black Friday deal ends?

Perhaps you are seeing the € price but that is still in line with the discount. What price are you seeing and in what currency?

The USD, GBP, and EUR prices are close enough to each other that with a 30% discount applied there isn’t likely to be any confusion because of a different currency being displayed.

Tier 49: $48.99 / £47.99 / 53,99 €

Tier 34: $33.99 / £32.99 / 37,99 €

I've just gone and purchased Designer but no discount was automatically applied so I've been billed the full amount.

Seems you've got an issue with the discount function on your website, the number of queries on here alone seems to confirm this.

I've contacted customer services for a refund so no big issue.

Hmm, it looks like the same "discount not applied" may have happened to my order in CAD, I purchased the whole suite and some extras on Nov 26th.

OK, then I did get my discount.

But clearly the website is showing something other than Canadian dollars when I look at it right now (likely USD). 

I'm certainly in Canada and not accessing the site with any geo blocking software.

Maybe the site needs a prominent pricing page?
