Import Color Profile into Affinity Designer

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to import Illustrator color profiles into Affinity Designer?

Like many others, I'm migrating from Illustrator and I have color profiles from my printer that I need to import.

Hi Bonaventure,

You will need to install your colour profile within OS X, the colour profile needs to be copied into the following system folder.

Macintosh HD > Library > Colorsync > Profiles

Once done it will be accessible within the app :)

Usually AD should be able to access the operating system color profiles for reuse. Thus you would have to install/copy your downloaded ICC profile to where Win 10 does keep those ...

  • Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color

AD should on the next start keep track of that and offer to select that one too then under it's export options.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.8.3 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.8.3 ◆ OSX El Capitan
