crash upon launch in high sierra

When i launch a completely new downloaded trial of Affinity Photo (as of 15 nov 20121) the app icon jumps twice in the dock and then disappears, opening an error message "Affinity Photo unexpectedly Quit" 

This happens every time i try, and everything else is working, the mac 

iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)

2,7 GHz Intel Core i5

12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB

High Sierra macos 10.13.6 (17G14042)
