Anouke Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 Good Day. I have a problem with the assets of all three Affinity programs. When I was doing a free trail version of the program I accidently deleted the assets that came with the program. I only deleted it in one program (Affinity Designer) but it also got deleted from Photo and Publisher. I did not know that the collapsed was the one I needed to click on to close the Assets window. I did click and hold CTRL and reset the assets. It did not work. Please find a way for if this happens again in the future for other users, where they are learning the program, that if the original Assets for the program gets deleted. That it can be restored again. Quote

Can you explain more about what you mean by "the collapsed was the one I needed..."? That would not happen if the programs were installed correctly, so if deleting them from one deleted them from the others that suggests you did not install them correctly. Perhaps you installed all 3 programs into the same directory, rather than installing Designer into a Designer directory, Photo into a Photo directory, and Publisher into a Publisher directory, for example. emmrecs01 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Anouke Posted November 20, 2021 Author Posted November 20, 2021 Thank you for the replies. I have a better understanding now. Have a good day. Quote
Fcunhaster Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) I have no idea HOW, but the Default Assets went missing and were replaced with images that I often use in Posters, no idea how as I keep the assets collapsed on it's window. I can't find a way to reset it all to Default and reinstall all my assets. Is there a fix for this? I can still work anyway, but it's really weird. I'm using the Windows Desktop version on Windows 11. Edited April 28, 2023 by Fcunhaster missing info, typo Quote
Fcunhaster Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I managed to reset and reinstall all my Assets, but the iOS 12 Assets went missing and weren't restored. How do I get them back? Not that I actually use them, but would be nice to have all neat and clean as I like it. Quote

If you're talking about V2, the iOS 12 Assets are no longer supplied with the applications.
