RomanHammer Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Hey Folks, since Affinity Photo 1.10. i have a lot of force close errors, it happens on different situation: - copy a layer - add a mask - refine a mask etc. It doesnt matter if the hardware-acceleration is on or off. Any suggestions? My PC is a HP Workstation (i5 - 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA Graphic chip with 2GB RAM, OS is Windows 11). Thx in advance Quote
RichardMH Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Maybe a clean install of latest graphics drivers. Quote
Simon DW Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Since installing 1.10.4.1198 I'm having exactly the same problem on my HP Pavillion Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700T CPU 2.00GHz 1.99 GHz on Win 10, updating to the latest graphics drivers only made matters worse, no it just freezes but won't shut down the app. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted November 14, 2021 Staff Posted November 14, 2021 Hi @RomanHammer, As @RichardMHhas mentioned, a clean install of your graphics card drivers would be a good place to start with this. Hello @Simon DWand Welcome to the Forums, Can you try opening Affinity and click Edit>Preferences>Performance and at the bottom of this window is an option for OpenCL, if that's ticked, untick and close Preferences and you'll be asked to restart Affinity. Once restarted, try using the app again and let me know the results. Quote
Simon DW Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 That seems to have resolved the issue, thanks! stokerg 1 Quote
