Old Bruce
Title says most of it. If I open a TIFF file (named IMG_1234.TIFF) in Photo Beta and then choose File > Edit in Designer... the file will open with Untitled for a name, and that will be the name when I return to Photo via File > Edit in Photo... This seems wrong to me, I would rather retain the name (IMG_1234) when I save the document in Designer or even back in Photo. *.afdesign *.afphoto retain the names. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Chris B Posted November 12, 2021 Staff Share Posted November 12, 2021 Hey Old Bruce, I believe this is because once you pass the file to another app, it becomes a 'persona' document and is no longer its original format. I think this is why it goes from name.jpeg to Untitled and not Untitled.jpeg. We could however look at keeping the filename minus the extension.
