Tim59
Hi, I have Silver Efex as a plug-in to Affinity Photo. I recently tried to convert colour photos to black and white in Silver Efex, but when Silver Efex opens, the default conversion is in sepia not black and white. All the other options in the panel on the left side are also sepia. How can I turn the default conversion back to black and white? Thanks very much, Tim. John Rostron
Hello @Tim59, and welcome to the Affinity Forums. Unfortunately your problem is not with Affinity but with the Silver Efex software. You need to contact the DxO support for the Nik Collection. Tim59
Thanks John. I feared that. I’ve got the free Google version, which I suspect will not be supported by DxO. I may try deleting it and reinstalling. Kind regards, Tim.

I also use the Google version and the plugin starts up with the neutral preview. Could you post a screenshot? Tim59
Hi Joachim, Thanks for your reply. Screenshot attached. I've just noticed I only get the problem when I'm working on RAW files. JPEGs open in normal black and white. Kind regards, Tim.
