Miketipp
Just updates to 1.10.4 and I am trying to save a project and it won' save. It just has the save bar up and nothing happening. The document is 165mb so not a massive file. I had no issues before this update so I'm pretty annoyed that I did it. So can anyone suggest a solution please. Thanks Michael

Old Bruce
Are you saving with the option to keep the history? File > Save History with Document. Unchecked means the history is not saved when you close the document, this is the default and used most of the time. When was the last time you restarted your computer? Lot of 'cruft' can build up and slow down various programs. A machine restart will clear that out. Cruft is a term for non specific software problems. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Miketipp
Im just after doing a restart to see if it improves. I hadn't restarted since the upgrade earlier
Miketipp
After restart it was working better but it keeps stalling and seems to freeze. So can save progress and have to force quite. Very frustrating.

If you’re using the Mac App Store version of AD you can only revert via Time Machine or a similar backup. Staff stokerg Posted November 8, 2021 Staff Share Posted November 8, 2021 Hi @Miketipp, Which version of MacOS are you running Affinity on? When the file wasn't saving, did you get an error message?
mnlvinct
Same problem. If i don't select export folder and use first opened it freezes to "infinity", but if i select the same folder manually it works normal
Miketipp
Since reverting to 1.10.3 I don't seem to have any problem issues. Hopefully its just a small glitch but Im worried is an OS issue and I don't think my Mac wont run anything higher than Sierra.
