VectorCat
Why would this be? If one is in full screen mode, and one creates a new document, why wouldn't the newly-created document appear visually on the screen of the computer where the newly-created document was created? When I exited full screen, I could see 8 untitled documents - my 8 attempts to Create New. Does apple need to improve things to enable software to show things in full screen mode? Old Bruce
Are you in Separated Mode? That will give you a new document in a different 'Space' than the one with the current document. VectorCat
I am / was not in Separated mode. Thank you!
VectorCat
also..what made this really weird for me is that I didn't see "Untitled" in the Window menu, where I'd think we could rely on to get the straight dope about which documents were open at the time. Old Bruce
I get all the new documents in the Full Screen window. VectorCat
Just tried to reproduce and failed. I'd quit Designer, then re-launched to try it again. I booted up from shut down first thing, so you could say that the Mac and the software each got a fresh start, so to speak... Perhaps it was lingering halloween ghosts up to mischief..
