Spitfire
Dear all, Is it possible to import .abr brushes for use in Affinity Designer? Thank you!
walt.farrell
I've never tried, but they might work in the Pixel Persona. Some Photoshop brushes work in the Affinity applications, and some don't. R C-R
I have successfully imported .abr brush files into AD's Pixel persona (as well as into AP). However, some of them do not work as expected, usually because the brush nozzle in the Texture tab is not centered so there are odd gaps when I use one. Generally, older ones with simple textures work OK, but not always. So my suggestion is to look for free ones to test with, or ask in this forum if anyone has had success with any specific one you are considering buying. Spitfire
Thanks for your replies. It is mainly custom brushes I have created in Photoshop. I’ll take a deeper look at the import process and make some tests.
