Color picker lets me pick colors from the Designer user interface, but not from my document :(

I'd simply like to pick a color from the bitmap layer, but it wouldn't let me:

Looks like due to transparency, you have a transparent background and where you try to select from might be an transparent area. Try on some nontransparent color fill objects/elements.

The colour picker is picking up the base colour, not the apparent colour. The picked area in your example is semitransparent.

And I can do so in the Pixel Persona. How can I apply this picked Pixel color to my vector?

Can’t you simply copy the source object and then ‘Paste Style’ to the target object?

The source object is a certain pixel of a bitmap.

Well for now I transferred color and transparency of that pixel manually via brain™

If you can pick it in the Pixel Persona, then the small color well in the Color panel will have the color in it.

To assign it as the Fill of your vector object just select the object and click on that small color well.

But the small color well shows the vector object's color as soon as I select it, not the pixel's color anymore

The small well is on the right of the eyedropper. It is only set by using that color picker.

Did you have the transparency checker board switched off before? It seems to matter for the color picker.
