Country Girl
Hello, I have recently bought a refurbished Mac with OS Big Sur and since inherited a Mac OS Mojave. I would like to buy Affinity Photo but I'm not sure which desktop computer to put it on. If I download it on Big Sur and problems arise as explained here will I be able to transfer the App to my Mac OS Mojave?
John Rostron
Hello @Country Girl, and welcome to the forums. The answer to your question is Yes. You can install the App on any Mac you own or control (but not onto an iPad or a PC). Country Girl
I realise Affinity Photo will work on Big Sur as well as Mojave but I don't know which one to put it on as both computers are very new to me. I have been working on Snow Leopard for more years than I can remember! If I install it on to my Big Sur and find I have problems using it as some have experienced here then would I be able to uninstall it from Big Sur and install it on my Mojave? If so how? or would I need to buy a second Affinity Photo app for my Mojave? I don't really want to buy the software twice but I would like to know which Mac OS to install it on in the first place? GarryP
As John said above, you can install the application onto as many Macs as you own or control – one purchase, many machines. Install it onto both and use it on the machine it works best on, or both.
Country Girl
Oh wow! If that is the case then I should have no worries. I'm so used to having to buy either a single use app for one computer only or pay more to use the same app on 2 computers (via a CD). Thank you so much, John Rostron and GaryP

The single-user licence for a private individual covers commercial/non-commercial use by the licensee and non-commercial use by others in their household. If (and only if) other members of your household wanted to use the app for commercial purposes, they would need their own licences.
