Stage/Canvas Scrolls Off Screen - Mouse Wheel

Recommended Posts

This is only a small thing but the stage or canvas scrolls off screen when using the mouse wheel.
It's quite annoying as I tend to do this a lot (roll/play with the mouse wheel) while looking at my phone or other stuff while in designer.

Motto - STUPID HURTS!

Hi @Timespider,

Thanks for your report! I can confirm that this is expected behaviour, as the 'pasteboard' around the canvas does allow for you to scroll far enough down for the canvas to no longer be seen.

I'll move this thread to the feedback section of our forums, for our devs to see and consider adding an option to change this behaviour in the future :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

When I make a mistake like this I just hit Command + 0 (zero) and I have the canvas centred in the window. On Windows I think the key command is Control + 0.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
