pummelfee
I am on a M1 MacMini and i did NOT update to macOS Monterey yet. However, i did the last Affinity Updates. Since today i am not able to use Publisher anymore because the tool that i select does not correspond with the cursor. See the attached photo. John Rostron
I have just tried this on my Windows PC and the cursor behaves as expected. Is this a Mac issue? It could be a Mac issue and not a Windows one. John Quote Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.10.5 Designer 1.10.5 and Publisher 1.10.5 (mainly Photo), now ex-Adobe CC CPU: AMD A6-3670. pummelfee
When i restart it works for several tasks, but after some usage the problem occurs. I wish the developers (also Apple) would take more care that the existing features actually work, instead of bringing tons and gigabytes of new features every year... Old Bruce
There is a temporary shortcut to change to the Pan tool (the gloved hand) it is the spacebar. The selected tool will still show as selected. I suspect something is sending 'spacebar is down' commands to the machine. Staff Lee D Posted October 28, 2021 Staff Share Posted October 28, 2021 @pummelfeeIt's not something a can currently reproduce on my M1 Mac Mini running Big Sur and Publisher 1.10.3. I only get that icon with the Move Tool if I hold the spacebar in as @Old Bruce indicated. Do you have any steps that can reproduce this for you each time that I can perhaps try? pummelfee
Yes, it ist usable. But i wonder why they do not fix (since endless releases) the scale controller under a image frame. This thing is always somewhere on the page and i have to reset the zoom to have this right in the middle of the image.
