JulienBerthelot
When I click the color I'm currently using (Fill : ) in the context toolbar, it takes a good 2 seconds before showing up. I think this is only present on macOS Monterey but I'm not certain. Running macOS 12.0.1 (Intel) Affinity Designer 1.10.3 Also happening in Affinity Photo & Publisher (1.10.3) *EDIT, I didn't know my Taylor Swift would also be playing in the screen recording 😅 Screen Recording 2021-10-26 at 2.36.36 PM.mov Edited October 26, 2021 by JulienBerthelot A song was playing during my screen recording lol Chris B and User_783649 1

Blacklick
I'm having the exact same problem since updating to macOS Monterey as well. But I'm getting it when trying to change the fill and stroke color in both the context toolbar and Appearance studio.

Staff Dan C Posted November 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted November 29, 2021 Hi @fantomac & others reporting this issue I can confirm our latest beta version has a provisional fix in for this issue: On 11/9/2021 at 1:36 PM, MattP said: - Mitigated UI stalls caused by a bug in macOS 12.0.1 (as best we can, things won't be back to normal until Apple fix the underlying issue). You can find the beta linked below, which can be installed alongside your retail version, so you have 2 versions of the app installed at once - I hope this helps! User_783649
Just update to macOS 12.1 – even 1.10.4 works instantly fast now with color pickers. No need to fix that anymore. Problem elliminated itself.
fantomac
hi, i confirm. Better with 12.1 update. Perhaps a little delay but I can't compare with previous working picker. 👍
Allstern
After updating to 12.1 I noticed a huge difference but still not instant as it should be. But that will do for now.
Andrew Berth
Same experience as the two people before me: not perfect but a lot better. It went from a ~2s to a ~200ms delay.
