A newbie problem : How to erase some parts from design.

Recommended Posts

I  made a  design attached ( in affinity Designer with Windows )  with a square and other curves attached to the square - but now I want to erase some parts  made with vector tools (according to the second file attached : a  photo )  and it is very tricky  for me.- when I try to erase the lines with ,,x '' , Affinity choose other line to erase.

Please help  with some idea . Please use outline view mode to see the whole design.  thanks

Your file has many separate curves, including several duplicates. Delete the duplicates, join the remaining curves and close them to make shapes that you can add (at the top of the square) or subtract (at the bottom of the square).
