Hello everyone,

When I export via cmd + s or export persona: PNG files are always blurry / seems to be bad quality rendering.

I'm exporting tiny png s with sizes 20x50 to 100x70 etc. @300dbi
I also tried creating a file at the same size as export. Same result.

I used the pixel Persona to get 100% pixelperfection, colores are blurred , textured too.
see attachement

Any suggestions on it? I can't really use the tool until this works, I do not changed any settings.

Hello I found a solution,
but I don't know why this isn't the default setting for exporting PNGs?

- in the export window (cms + s) - go to: more -> pixelformat: 16 BIt (was 8) and recalculation to: "nextto" (translated from german: nächstgelegen)

king regards,

Sam

You can create your own presets for export if you frequently need a specific one. I don’t know what kind of images you’re exporting (your attachments aren’t showing up for some reason) but I doubt that the pixel format has anything to do with it. Usually the document default is sufficient. And the resample setting is called “nearest neigbour” in English – and this is the most basic resampling method. Depending on your graphic it might work but is usually not the first/best choice. There is a nice explanation of different resampling methods and their outcome at http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/10931/what-is-lanczos-resampling-useful-for-in-a-spatial-context#answer-14361
