Disappearing of some layers in layers group

Hi,

I have a big problem while working in affinity designer. From time to time the "icon" of the layer disappears and while trying to click on it, the program crashes and after reopening some of the works disappear. Also there is no "save" option only "save a copy".

Hi I am new here, but I am working on a beta copy through TestFlight app, this problem is part of the new fix, you may have to talk to a staff member for timings etc.  but beta one is very stable and smooth.

the answer then is it is in the middle of getting fixed

Just looked at the save issue, it opens the menu to save with or without history to iPad or iCloud then you can go back and do more work.

so not too sure of your issue, sorry

Yes, I've seen this tutorial. The problem is that the app crashes and You can't predict it, so I want to save my new elements by clicking save in document menu but it's not there(as shown on a printscreen)

Hi, thank You for Your reply. I would probably try the beta version but I'm not sure where I can download it. I bought affinity designer in apple app store.

I can confirm that our latest beta should address this issue, you can find the 'Testflight' link to access this beta in the below post -

Hi I am an absolute novice on these issues, but when I was told of TestFlight etc, it took a couple of mins to sort out and work on

I've just installed the beta. My first impression is that one can't rotate the document - one can only zoom it. Should I unlock it somewhere?

You can unlock this in the Navigator Studio, as shown in the below recording

The tutorial shows you the different ways you can Save. For your case, back out to the home screen and you'll have Save. From the active document you only have Save As.
