In 2021 is there now a way to integrate direct to a vinyl cutter machine from Affinity Designer?

Sadly not, you would need to export from Designer and import into your cutting machines software.

Check the interface instructions for your vinyl cutter. You may be able to add it to your system as a printer, in which case you could simply ‘print’ to it.

The vinyl cutters / plotters I've used in the past need to receive vector line information via a PS rip. I've been trying to trick Designer to print Vectors and even CMYK for seven years with no luck - the official Affinity response of "just make a PDF and print via Acrobat" is a total "can't be arsed" cop out
