[Designer] Print option problem : I Can't fit print size(paper size) to actual page

Recommended Posts

I'm working on horizontal A4 size art board and when I print it, it doesn't fully print. Somehow, A4 paper size in print option is shorter than actual art board that is the same size.

I tried to change the options in Affinity and printer itself's options, but both doesn't solve the problem. What should I do?

If I recall it correctly the red lines show the printers margin, which seems to be bigger on the right side. Try to change the Fit Type to one of the other two options or print on a larger paper.

Thanks for answer.

I tried that, but nothing changed. 😓 When I change to other fit type option, the red line itself disappear and when I print, It prints the same way, cropped in the end. 😢

And the Printer's Maximum paper size is A4, So unfortunately I can't use larger paper.

I can't reproduce

Can you upload the document with that artboard in it?

Thanks for your answer.

Sorry, Only other language I know how to write is English, so I reply to English.

Does this mean I have to work on a smaller art board? Is there any other way?

Kein Problem!

I don’t know whether anything has changed recently at HP, but their older printers are well known for having a relatively large unprintable area at the trailing edge.

Done, best if you also delete the file you uploaded

Hi, it's me again. Could you show me the link where you found the printer information? Thank you.
