NotMyFault
Hi, The Desktop versions allow to set radius above 100px for Gaussian blur filters. The IPad Version of Photo caps the numeric value at 100px, even for existing layers with larger radius. Example file see radius values lead to performance issues. Staff Dan C Posted October 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2021 Hi @NotMyFault, Thanks for your report! I believe this may be a limit set for performance reasons on the iPad - however if you are opening a 'desktop' document, I would also expect the correct value to be retained. Therefore I will be logging this with our devs now, I hope this helps NotMyFault 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Nowadays M1 iPads are far more powerful than the majority of Windows Laptops / Desktops, and on par with M1 based Laptops / Desktops. Even in 2018 my IpadPro 10.5 was already faster (and is still faster) then my current PC when using Photo (e.g. opening Tone Map Persona for a vanilla 24 Mpx image), except when the bigger RAM starts to be a factor.
