My 14 year old grandson's team came in second in an invitational hockey tournament.  He was wearing a borrowed jersey as a result during the award ceremony his name is not seen.  Removal of the other kid's name was no problem, but my son would like to see the correct name on the jersey. As you can see from the image, the name is only outlined in white, how do I get the letters to be solid white?

There is a stroke and a fill you probably have a fill of Black, Nothing (clear) or any other colour with 0% opacity.

Select the text using the text caret and then alter the colour in the (black for now) colour well with the sliders. 835648961_ScreenShot2021-10-12at8_28_11AM.png.a6aeb483401e832519129b30d1cb0b15.png

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Here's a couple of suggestions.

First, you need a better font. Ideally, it should match what's showing on the rest of the jersey. You might try one of these:  https://www.free-fonts.com/high-school-usa

Second, put a little bit of blur on the letters. The rest of the photo is a bit soft, and supersharp letters would look conspicuous. You can do this by selecting the layer with the text, and using the FX choices.

Third, don't make the lettering absolute white. Use one of the color samplers to get a white that matches the letters on the jersey. I used the white found in the middle of the "JOG" insignia just under the collar.

Last, I used the Mesh Warp to curve the upper and lower edges of the letters, to approximate the curve on the shirt fabric. You might want to rotate the letters, too, to match the angle defined by the upper borders of the numbers beneath them.

Here's my quick take on it:
