Cannot vectorize contours if brushes are applied to them

Recommended Posts

Hello ! First, I wanted to thank teams who work on affinity because if it doesn't exist,I won’t be able to pay software that i need to work. So really thank you for that !
I hope there is an answer for my question : Actually, i am not getting to vectorize contours when i apply brush to them. It's possible when it's continuous line contours but not with brush. I downloaded this brush on your site, so it's not a problem of compatibility....So i hope i am on the right place to ask this. And sorry for my english.

Many thanks for your kind feedback, we're certainly glad to hear you're enjoying using the apps as much as we enjoy making them!

I have tested this here, when using the Pen Tool or Vector Brush Tool in affinity Designer, I'm able to use the Contour tool on this object as expected.

However Affinity Designer also contains the Pixel Persona, with the Pixel Brush - any strokes created using these tools unfortunately aren't supported by the Contour Tool.

Could you please provide a screen recording or series of screenshots, showing the exact tools you're using and the issue you're experiencing please?

Many thanks in advance!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
